Important Shipping Information
All orders containing alcoholic beverages are shipped out from licensed retailers or wineries.  Because of the "three-tier" system (producer, wholesaler, retailer) through which most alcoholic products must pass in the United States, distribution and shipping of alcoholic products can be quite complicated. To help try and create an easier buying experience for our customers, we have tried to break down our shipping policies here.

Wine Orders
Delivery generally within 2 – 5 business days to these states: 
AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE,NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV and WY.

Wine and Gift Delivery
All Wine orders are routed to companies that can ship the wine directly to you; very often these companies are in the same state as the recipient. Orders are sent electronically to wineries and member retailers, who package and send out the orders from their own inventories. All products have already passed through the three-tier system, so are ready to be shipped by the retailer when the order arrives.

Faster Delivery Options
Most wines in the wine shop can be shipped express to all reciprocal states, such as CA, IL, NM, NV, OR, WV, and several others. 

Gift Baskets, Accessories, and other Non-Wine Items
Delivery of non-wine items is generally accomplished within 3 to 5 business days, though delivery times may be longer depending on distance, or during the holiday season.  If you are placing an order for a birthday or special event and need it to arrive by a certain date, please contact us and we will do our best to arrange it for you.

PLEASE NOTE: Wine must be delivered to an address where an individual of at least 21 years of age is available to sign for wines during regular business hours. Also note State Shipping Quantity Restrictions below.

Only two cases per person, per month in IA, MO, NM, NC, OR, SC, WV, VA  
Only twenty-four cases per person, per year in ID, NY 
Only twelve cases per person, per year in NV, VT
Only two cases per person, per year in MN, WY
Only three cases per person, per year in WI
Only four cases per year in LA
Only twenty-four cases per year in IN
Only five cases per address, per year in NH
Only six cases per person, per year in HI
Only one case per person, per month in ND
Only 2 cases per household, per month in OH

Delivery Notes
We regret that wine cannot be shipped to a PO Box.     
Recipient must be 21 years or older and must show proof of valid ID.   
Adult Signature is required upon delivery.   
Tax varies by city, county and/or state.

Shipping States & Delivery Times
By law, we can only ship wine to AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE,NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV and WY. However, gifts that don't include wine can be shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. We are working to add new states on a regular basis. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery (Allow 3-4 weeks delivery for OH).
