Cameron Kent is a member of the North Carolina Broadcasters Hall of Fame. He retired in 2017 after 33 years at WXII-12 News in Winston-Salem. He was nominated for 14 Emmy Awards for journalism, and won an Emmy for his reporting on the Pentagon after 9/11. Over the course of his career, Cameron has been a guest speaker or Master of Ceremonies at over 3,000 events. Cameron is currently a full-time author. His sixth novel, The Oak Island Book Club, was released last December. He’s a graduate of Wake Forest University and loves running, fishing, guitar, and golf.
